Yissachar Dov Rokeach (third Belzer rebbe)

Yissachar Dov Rokeach was a prominent figure in the Hasidic movement, serving as the third Rebbe of the esteemed Belz Hasidic dynasty. Born into a lineage of revered leaders, he was the second son of Rabbi Yehoshua Rokeach, a notable rabbi in his own right. This familial connection would ultimately pave the way for Yissachar Dov Rokeach's own ascension to a position of spiritual leadership.

Yissachar Dov Rokeach's tenure as the third Belzer Rebbe commenced in 1894, following the passing of his father. He went on to lead the community for over three decades, until his own death in 1926. During his time as Rebbe, he played a significant role in guiding his followers and shaping the spiritual trajectory of the Belz Hasidic dynasty.
