Walter Freud

Walter Freud was a British chemical engineer, born in 1921, who made a career in the field of technology. As a member of a notable family, he was the grandson of the renowned psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud. Following the Anschluss, Walter Freud escaped from Vienna alongside his grandfather and other family members, ultimately settling in the United Kingdom.

In addition to his work as a chemical engineer, Walter Freud served in the Royal Pioneer Corps and the British Special Operations Executive. His contributions to these organizations reflect his commitment to public service and his adaptability in various fields.
