He initially gained recognition in the music scene as a battle rap artist, performing under the alias SpongeBOZZ, a parody of the popular cartoon character SpongeBob SquarePants. This persona was characterized by its gangster rap style, which garnered attention and acclaim.

As his career progressed, Sun Diego began to perform under his current stage name, marking a shift in his artistic approach.
