Natalia Paruz

Natalia Paruz, known as the 'Saw Lady', is a musical saw player based in New York City. Her expertise extends beyond playing the musical saw, as she is also a skilled bell ringer and filmmaker. In addition to her performance career, Paruz has been involved in various organizational and educational pursuits, showcasing her dedication to the musical community.

Paruz has made significant contributions to the promotion and celebration of musical saw playing. She founded and directed the annual Musical Saw Festival in New York City, which she led for 11 years. Additionally, she organized a musical saw festival in Israel, further expanding the reach of this unique instrument. Paruz has also shared her knowledge through writing, serving as a columnist for the 'Saw Player News', and has judged international musical saw competitions, as well as other events such as Music Under New York and Little Island at Pier 55.
